Jeannine Goncher was a long-term board member and volunteer of the Children's Shopping Tour. She will always be remembered as Mrs. Claus. She loved spending time with each child as they shared their Christmas list with Santa.

This organization began with the Greater Johnstown Jaycee’s and has continued to support our community. Many children in the Greater Johnstown area do not have coats, boots, or even hats and gloves to keep them warm during the winter season. The children who attend this event are treated to an evening of shopping with our team of dedicated volunteers who will spend time helping them choose the right sizes and styles. After shopping, the children are surprised by a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a snack, and a craft to make and take home to their families.
